I have been grown up believing the ultimate truth in my life that god maintains a log of everyone’s behaviour in his huge book. He analyzes our each move in life, every small thing we do; right from giving a seat to a lady with kids in a crowded train and winking at an innocent child who is smiling at us to cheating someone for selfish motives. And what you call luck, depends on his result of the analysis. He is always fair about what he keeps in store for each one of us. This belief always helped me get on a better path when I had to choose between the right and the wrong, but today I wonder whether my log is getting updated !!
Feel exactly the same way – in fact what you’re saying is Biblical – Christians actually believe this!
I do believe that everyone has to pay for their deeds in life good or bad. But sometimes i wonder whether good people always get rearded for their goodness and do bad people really get punished? Next birth is a far fetched concept for me
