At home with Chiku
I am at home with parents and little chiku (till my niece’s naming ceremony scheduled next week, I have the privilege of calling her by any name I like). When I was planning my trip home, I had a very fancy agenda which included shopping, eating out, beauty treatments, movies and lots of reading, driving. But for past almost a week, I have hardly gone out, just don’t feel like moving around because there is so much entertainment at home, also I don’t want to miss any new expression or movement of the little one. All my friends must be furious as I haven’t even informed anyone about my arrival, I needed this time only for myself and parents. Everything is just the way I had left, even the yellow curtains in my room smell the same.
Yesterday I went to the Computer book shop to get some books for the spring semester and my shoe heels broke on the way ( didi doesn’t know I wore her high heels) but there is always a brighter side to everything, bought a brand new pair of sleek shoes at Metro showroom
. They certainly have a great collection of shoes and bags, wanted to buy atleast 3-4 but managed to pacify the greed. Even at the book shop I bought a book which I would never need , but the look and feel was impossible to resist.
Little about the goodbyes at work: We had a great going away party at Uno grill. But this time I tried the most amazing mango ice tea and stir fried chicken and the company indeed added stars to the luncheon.
