I am committed

Remember me talking something about being in love? If not, read here-> Mac Yes finally I have agreed to spend the rest of my life with him. It just happened yesterday and I feel I should involve all my well wishers in the good news. Yesterday afternoon at 2:00 P.m. Fedex delivered a shining, smart and trendy MACBOOK at my door :) . Yes I m a proud owner of a superhep Macbook!! I am so loving the experience of using this brilliant piece of man’s creation.
Now a little about the configuration:
2 GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM – 2×1GB
120GB Serial ATA drive @ 5400 rpm
2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Superdrive 6x (DVD+R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
AirPort Extreme Card & Bluetooth

Macbook

With Parallels I can use multi-OS environment and shift between OS x, Windows and Linux with a simple click. Its different from boot camp where it loads a diffferent operating system, with Parallels a new operating system runs in its own virtual machine along the OS X. I probably wouldn’t be able to explain how and why a mac is different and beautiful. I guess now I can understand why Shreyas used to go gaga over this machine and always gets the same spark in eyes when he talks about mac!! ( yes his “Macbook pro” is on the way. he always manages to overshdow me by doing something better :( )

    Awesome……so finally ur also with Mac….:)….But the only sad thing is tat now it’s with Intel processors…:(:(……
    I guess Vaio is also a good bet now…..:)

    How much did you end up paying for it? In India it costs around 85 grand.

    Sakshi, I paid 1500$ thats around 65 Grand INR.

    When you are using the parallels software to acess windows vista on apple. What key do you use for “windows ( the button with windows logo)”. For example if you you want to access the 3D future on windows vista you press windows+ tab keys. so what is the windows key in apple. I can’t seem to figure it out.
