International Gala & NY

Published by reshmac at 6:40 pm under General

The weekend is almost arrived and the excitement for the advent of Spring Break is all over Northeastern. Kids are making plans to visit parents and friends. Except I have 2 quizzes and 2 project submissions lined up the following week, what on earth can make me happy as a clam on high water!! Plus I have had my share of fun evenings at the International Gala night at school. It was a splendid gathering of the entire world on one stage, there talent knew no bounds of culture, cast or region.

New

These days I am very much fanatic about the city New York. Inspite of visiting the city only once, there is something magnetic about the place which keeps inviting me. I am sure it’s not just the after effect of watching too many episodes of Sex and the City last year(that counts too), I feel it gave me more of a Mumbai(My Hometown) effect in the city. Have I ever mentioned about the terrific Deja-Vus I get? I remember distictly getting a strong Deja-vu in New York. I prefer crowd around me than being in a quiet place, the importance of having the presence of people around, is appreciated by students like me who have come here from a place like Mumbai.
P.S. Prospective employers in New York (who value employee satisfaction) please note down this point ;) .

NYC truly does have that magnetism.. it’s palpable as you walk the streets to work.. Boston is sweet and warm but NY does rock! and yes, Sex and the city does that to you too! :)
