All I want is not all I need

Published by reshmac at 10:59 pm under General

He calls me an emotional extremist, I laugh till I cry and cry till I finally smile. My dad, sis and friends know exactly what type of jokes make me laugh and inspite of them cracking the same jokes hundred times I still laugh with the same zeal(now that makes me pretty predictable). I get pleasure in very small things in life and one of the things is buying my own things, I wouldn’t say I am an extravagant fool but I do like to indulge myself in little pleasure shopping tours. These are some of the things I wish to buy this year 2007-2008, at the end of 2008 I will come back to this post and check if I was successfull in fulfilling my desires:

me

I have always wanted a black elegant overcoat which I can wear to work, dinners and other occassions but due to students budget I had to compromise and go for simpler jackets; sporty and trendy ones(though I have 4 such sporty types ;) and love them all as they keep me superwarm during chilly days).

Data structures and algorithms

I so loved this book when I saw its hard bound version at Borders Book Shop, sometimes I see a book and just fall in love with it, but again the price was exorbitant to just satiate my greed for the smooth covered shining book. I have used the low priced edition of the same book also the e-version of this book is easily available but standing in the store and keeping the smooth copy back to the shelves made my heart cry.

Coffee Maker

I am totally fanatic about all sorts of coffee flavours dpending on my mood, strong during exams, frothy during vacations and early morning mild but hot coffee are in my favorite list. I would love to get up every morning and use a coffee maker shown in the pic and enjoy a cup of coffee that just suits my taste and mood. But everytime I think of buying it, something ESSENTIAL screams for priority :( and I run to coffeeshop every time I get my usual coffee craving.

iPhone

And last but not the least, the greedy me asks for more, my Tmobile contract will get over in august 2008 after that I would definitely be tempted to go for this chick piece. There was a time when I was desperate to get an ipod but now that I can afford, I dont feel like buying it at all. All I wish to own is iPhone and I am sure Shreyas will definitely jump for it and as we compete for almost everything; I will have to buy it before him ;)
